As for the title, looks like Blizzard continues its fight against 3P bots in World of Warcraft. Here, the defendant not only charged its members $25 for the software plus $8.99 for a subscription (and $2.99 per month for a “Pocket Goblin” add-on), but now solicits donations from its customers to pay for its loss in the courts.
Pretty cheeky.
Consider the defendants’ repeated warnings to its customers vis-a-vis Blizzard’s contracts:
“There aren’t enough superlatives in the English language to fully convey how against the rules this is. If you get caught, you will probably be banned. So be smart and don’t get caught.”
